When I was young I always watched those MTV Spring break events. My young mind shaped by the thought of being in a tropical place, with drinks, and partying.
It’s funny how these moments one summer shaped the way I turned out. I said “If I can and I won’t spend any of my time at home ever”. Because of this moment I learned that life doesn’t happen at home.
When I first picked up boxing, I would post a few instagram stories of me on the speed bag and I would get people reaching our saying they’ve always wanted to go to a boxing gym.

Don’t Wait On Your Friends To Do Things:
I gave the gym hours, the days I showed up, and invited everyone who expressed interest. No one took up the offer and that was a telling sign of something I also suffered.
Luckily, I overcame this disease of waiting for someone else to join me on new experiences early because it stops people from living their life.
I discussed this in an earlier post about New Years Resolutions, where step two is starting small. I wouldn’t recommend for most people to just book at trip thousands of miles away.
Visit a local restaurant or bar you’ve always wanted to try but have not had anyone to go with. Easy win because as I’ve said before the bartenders are there to ensure you have a great experience.
My first time was a nicer hotel bar I had always wanted to go. I cleaned up, sat at the bar, and ordered a negroni (IYKYK). For dinner I ordered their steak sandwich.
Tip: you don’t have to order the most expensive thing on the menu.
I Like People:
Because I am a social creature (curse/blessing), I expanded and put together little events around the holidays. Using social media I would post holiday bar crawl itineraries. When people would like my stories (interest) I would send a DM and get their commitment to the gathering.
I treated it as an experiment, how would everyone from different parts of my life would interact with each other.
Like a hadron collider, how would these people collide and crash into each other. Stupendously fun, because people don’t normally hang with people outside of their normal groups.
People Leave Their Home To Live Life:
After going out on your own you’ll see people are waiting for life to happen even though they aren’t at home. Psychology (me) says that people going out are waiting for these random collisions to happen.
Girls want to be approached (especially now), they want to have a wonderful interaction with a stranger. Social interactions make the world go round, if you need help with social skills then read my most popular post linked.
It’s easier read than done, but putting in some effort a few times a week will end up building your confidence. I hate seeing men who are confident, because I know the potential you anyone has when they follow these steps.
