You must start showing up for yourself. You are the only person who will ever pull yourself out of your hole.
I want to give you examples of what it means to show up for yourself.
Do you feel like you’re in a hole?
You’re days more than likely are merging because you’re doing the same thing, over and over again.
“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” – Maybe Albert Einstien
It’s a suffocating feeling almost as if you’re in a hole. Realizing you are in a hole is the first step to making a positive change.
Step 1: Get Out Of Your Routine:
Staying in the same routine is what I like to refer to as the death march. My younger colleague showed me a funny video that now describes their adult lives.
Imagine being a child and seeing this person and thinking, “My life will never turn out like that, going nowhere!“
Are you proud of the life that you have created or are you bitter with life?
Step 2: Your Clothes Must Fit
To show up for yourself then you must make sure you’re presenting the best version of yourself.
If you dress good and you feel good then you will be good. Confidence comes from within and from without so if you’re not at least presentable then you are hindering your potential.
It drives me nuts when I see someone wearing baggy clothes in a work setting. That is not as bad as making basketball shorts, crocs, and t-shirts as your default dress code.
Don’t kid yourself either, you know you look like a slob.
Step 3: You Must Want Yourself To Be Successful
Showing up for yourself means just that, wanting the best for yourself unapologetically and relentlessly.
You must have a burning desire to become the best version of yourself no matter who’s feelings will be hurt.
I’ve found that many people don’t want to change because of what other people may think. In this case you’re living a life for someone else and once you develop that burning desire to be the best person you can imagine, you’ll be much happier.
You’ll develop a sense of control because you will stop living for others and you’re taking action on things you want.

Everyone Struggles:
Everyone struggles to keep the momentum staying on the path of reaching their truest potential.
You must just not give up, because everyone starts and just gives up even though anything worth having takes time to build.
